Please find inclosed the Agenda & supporting pappers for the next forum meeting.
At our last meeting, dated 29th June 2012. Greg Szarzyrnski from the sensory impairment team gave a presentation to the meet about the service they provide & how to access it, followed by a Q & A session, for more information please refer to the attached minutes for this meeting. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him on behalf of the CDF & our members for taking the time out of his busy schedule to make this very interesting & informative presentation.
Also at this meeting we introduced a new format, the first hour we held our usual meeting, for the second hour we facilitated a themed meeting. The subject was transport, which was chosen by our members. Having themed meetings will make it easier for us to collate important issues & concerns that our members have, so that we can make sure we are better reprsenting them. All members present said they found this meeting very productive & agreed that they would like all future meetings to continue in this format.
Please note that Patrick Green, Vice Chair, will be Chairing the August meeting as I will still be on Annual Leave.
