Greyhound Lane Streatham Common
GREYHOUND LANE SW16, ROUTES 60, 118, N133: From 0200 Saturday 03 November until 1800 Saturday 28 April 2013, buses will be diverted with delays due to the closure of the railway bridge on Greyhound Lane to facilitate bridge reinforcement and station development works . A shuttle bus service route 560 will operate between Streatham Vale and Rowan Road.
Routes 60, 118, and N133 - towards Croydon and Mitcham- from Streatham High Road at the junction of Greyhound Lane, ahead Streatham High Road , ahead London Road, right Stanford Road , ahead Stanford Way, left Rowan Road to line of route. A shuttle bus service route 560 will operate between Streatham Vale and Rowan Road.
Routes 60, 118, and N133 - towards Streatham - from Rowan Road at the junction of Stanford Way, right Stanford Way, ahead Stanford Road , left London Road, ahead Streatham High Road to line of route.
Spring Lane Bridge
The Bridge is weak and a 7.5 ton weight restriction was imposed in April 2010 since then specialists have been looking at strengthening the bridge now It is proposed to replace the deck during April & May 2013 Spring Lane will be closed for 3 – 4 weeks and the Beckenham / Elmers End Trams would be disrupted during Easter 2013. The new deck would last for about 120 years with a 40 ton weight limit.
Buses could start being rerouted during the end of May 2013
Bus Routes involved are 130 New Addington - Norwood Junction Due to be extended to Thornton Heath Clock tower via Park Road Whitehorse Lane High St.
And 312 South Croydon Lower Addiscombe Road Norwood Junction.
Other Bridges with a weight Restriction include Goat House Bridge Routes 75,157
Teninson Road Route 410, Coombe Road Bridge, Spurgons Bridge Routes 50, 75,157, 450, 468, X68. Which plans are being prepared for strengthening these bridges.
East Croydon Station the New Bridge that is now being built next to Platform 1 will be lifted on to the foundations across the station during November then will be fitted out.
London Bridge Station
Dec 2013 All Thameslink Brighton - Bedford Trains diverted via Elephant & Castle Non Stop to East Croydon until 2016 not serve London Bridge
Some Southern services diverted to Victoria
All Platforms at London Bridge Will be closed 3 at a time starting on platforms 14- 12
When finished in 2016 platforms 7&8 will be through platforms to or from Charing Cross releasing 2 platforms for through Thameslink trains who expect to run 24 trains an hour through Central London

Longer Trains & Platforms for Southern Metro services to increase from 8 carnages to 10 in Dec 2013 Thornton Heath, Streatham Common, Balham have planned works.
The Victoria Peckham Rye London Bridge Southern services are replaced by London Overground service from Clapham Junction to Dalston Junction service on 9th December 2012
Crystal Palace Station Original Ticket office has been refurbished, and now open. The lifts are due to be finished in the spring
60+ London Oyster photocard
If you're a London resident, aged 60 or over, you may be eligible to apply for a 60+ London Oyster photocard.
A 60+ London Oyster photocard will allow you to travel free on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London.
You will not be eligible if you:
· Have, or are eligible for, an older or disabled persons Freedom Pass
· Have a Veterans Oyster photocard
· Are under 60
· Don't live in a London borough
· You will be able to apply for a 60+ London Oyster photocard online from us on 17 October 2012. You won't be able to apply before this date or from anyone else. If you are not able to complete the application online or need help you will be able to contact our Customer Contact Centre.
You will need to provide:
· A colour digital photo
· An active email address
· Proof of identification and address
· £10 fee
A 60+ web account will be set up for you to get updates on your application or to report lost, stolen or damaged photocards.
60+ London Oyster photocards will be accepted for travel from 1 November 2012.
